Lannin Design worked with us on the design and project supervision of a pretty complex extension which joins two existing buildings. We had some ideas on the overall plan but were very unclear on how to make the design attractive and how to best integrate the buildings together. Brian was such a pleasure to deal with – took all of our inputs, worked with them patiently, and brought his own expertise to bear, resulting in a great design that has received widespread admiration. We never felt that anything was imposed on us and the engagement was entirely collaborative. The resultant project was carried out through the course of the pandemic with all of the delays and frustrations that involved. Lannin Design designed our 49M sq. kitchen extension in 2014. We had a demanding brief – a modern high spec kitchen/living space. We wanted a seamless integration as possible with the existing structure and our north facing garden. We wanted a multifunctional open plan living space while still maintaining that intimate feel. Brian and Lannin Design over delivered on the brief. We are delighted with the results. We now have a living space the whole family enjoys.

Once we found our site, Brian from Lannin Design was with us from the start. He helped with pre-planning meetings and the steps we needed to take to get the ball rolling. From the outset it was easy to discuss with Brian what we wanted in terms of Design/Size etc. and his advice and encouragement was very beneficial. Brian made things much easier for us by going through all of the paper work required, showing us our design on 3D CAD modelling software and walking through things on site with us. The work Brian carried out for us we are so appreciated of and knowing he was always contactable was invaluable. Now we are looking forward to moving into our new house soon.
